OK, the blog works now (well at least on the one computer I tested it on). I doubt anyone is going to read this, but what the hell… and I promise I’ll update the site soon.

Kevin brought his digital camera to practice last week and we got a few new pics of us playing. He also lined up another gig for us soon (another private party, sorry). We have been so focused on recording that it will be fun to go play these songs live (especially the new ones), not just playing the same song over and over in the studio until you get the best performance. I think the quality of the recording and songwriting is the best work that I have ever been a part of and I can’t wait until it’s finished.

We have two songs ready to record and another six that are almost ready to record. These will take the longest time as they are either brand new or old/unfinished songs that we really feel fit in with the songs that we’ve already written and recorded for the upcoming album. This will give us plenty more songs than will go on the album so we can use the best and most cohesive set of songs.

I did find my old Sierra/Dynamix Aces series games website and I went ahead an uploaded it to the server for nostalgia… I don’t think many (any?) people are playing these old games (RB3D excepted), but if someone is, there are plenty of add-ons on the Acepage. I used to have several copies of all those games, I must have lost them because I can’t find anything older than Red Baron 3D now.

I also moved my old Tripod page to this server, it’s at http://vt.beckament.net. It has drivers and utilities to use that $200.00 VT controller that comes with (X-Box) Steel Battalion with your (Windows based) computer. It works with just about any game, but it’s really fun with MechWarrior 3 and 4 (since that’s what the controller was originally for, Giant Mechs).
