Mechwarrior 4 - ChalkdustMy dedicated MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries server (von Pilsner’s) crashed the other night. I don’t play much during the week, so I didn’t notice until I got a call from another player asking where the server went.

Fortunately the important stuff was recently backed up so I had to re-install and configure Windows and a few other programs and the server was back online within 24 hours. According to initial reports from other players it is running a lot more smoothly now, so perhaps it was a blessing in disguise… lol

If you are interested, the server info is here (install and upgrading instructions are at the bottom of the page).  It is generally up 24/7 unless my unit has a league game and I need to host. It is heat on/limited ammo and is currently running the MekTek MP3.02b version of MechWarrior.
